MWB is inviting you to awaken your body after a long winter and to energize yourself for the summer.
We will have 4 Yoga classes at Lapinlahden Lähde, every Friday, from 24.05. till 14.06., 18.00 -19.15, guided by Yoga and Fitness Instructor and MWB Volunteer Lay Wascher.
In the 75 minute class, we will have the opportunity to exercise our bodies and soothe our minds with diverse Yoga, Meditation, Relaxation, Stretching and Mobility exercises in a relaxed atmosphere.
We will practice basic Yoga poses (asanas) and go from energizing to relaxing moves, always with a deep relaxation or guided meditation at the end.
Suitable for all levels, everybody is welcome!

About the instructor

My name is Lay Wascher, I was born in Rio, Brazil. There I graduated in Communication Sciences (Media and Journalism) but the passion for movement and exercising was always present in my life. I ended up getting a certification as Jazz Dance Instructor in my college times and never stopped teaching Group Fitness classes since then.
I moved to Germany in my 20’s, there I began to work with Fitness in 1998.
Over the years I’ve been teaching Indoor Cycling (certified Spinning Instructor), Bodyweight Training, Aerobic, Zumba, Body Pump, Hiit and many other group fitness classes at various gyms. I’ve been a Yoga Instructor (Landessportbund NRW) since 2011, when I began to discover, explore, practice and learn many styles of Yoga.
Since 2020 I have been dedicating more and more time to learning, practicing and teaching Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga and Therapeutic Yoga.
